After losing her Job just three weeks ago Margaret Shearer, 46 from Glasgow has become Britains first Bingo Millionaire!

The win comes just a couple of weeks after gaming laws were relaxed to allow such high jackpots.

A spokesman for Mecca said Ms Shearer had been a member for 30 years and her mother was her regular playing companion.

The spokesman said: "She is superstitious, and always carries a miniature Buddha figure in her handbag."
